It is with great pleasure that we are now accepting online donations, including recurring payment support, through the Givebutter platform. Givebutter gives you a quick and easy method to directly support Dallas Team Handball Club, that is available at no cost to the club. Lets take a few moments to walk through the donation process to make sure you are comfortable with every step of the donation process. If you have any questions, or more information you’d like before deciding to donate, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
1 – Find an Online Donations Button
Throughout our site, you’ll find donation buttons that look like this…
The donate button above (and anywhere else you find that button such as our Donations page) will pop-up a donation form directly in your browser window when you click it.
2 – Select Donation Frequency and Amount
The first page that you will be taken to in the donation form will allow you to select a donation amount, as well as how often you would like this donation to be made. Three suggested amounts are available for quick selection for each time period, but custom amount can be entered as well!
If you’d like to include an additional note to Dallas Team Handball Club, select check the optional ‘Add note/comment’ box and fill out the text field to get your message to us!
Once you are satisfied with all of your selections on this page, select the continue button to move on…
3 – Summary Page
After selecting to continue, you will be taken to the payment summary page. There are a few options here that may not be immediately clear, so let’s take a moment to walk through each item and discuss.
- Processing Fee – Online transactions, such as this donation, are not free. This donation form allows the donor (you) to cover these fees, and this is the default option. You can change this option (as well as find more information on it) by clicking the ‘Edit’ button. If you chose to not cover these fees, they will instead be taken from your donation. The remainder of your donation will go directly to Dallas Team Handball Club.
- Add a tip – To offer their services for free to non-profits like Dallas Team Handball Club, Givebutter depends on tips that come from donation forms. This tip goes directly to Givebutter, not to Dallas Team Handball Club. The amount can be updated or even removed entirely using the buttons to the right of the tip section. By default there will be a value here, but that value can be adjusted with no impact to the final value available to Dallas Team Handball Club.
- Allow Contact – This option will add you to the contact list of Dallas Team Handball Club.
- Contribution on Behalf of Company – If donating as a company instead of an individual, please select this option. If you are usingthis option, you may instead be interested in our sponsorship opportunities!
- Payment Methods – Payment is processed through Stripe, and can be done through most major credit/debit cards as well as PayPal. If you’d like to donate using a different method, please contact [email protected] for more details.
4 – Complete Payment Information
Once you’ve selected your payment method, fields will appear for you to enter your payment information. Once you’ve completed that, you can click the final ‘Pay XXX’ button, and you’re done! Thank you for your support of Dallas Team Handball Club!
