2025 Season Recap – Dallas Team Handball Club
The 2025 season was an exciting year of growth, competition, and community for Dallas Team Handball Club. From national tournaments to weekly practices and new organizational milestones, the club continued building momentum in North Texas.
Competition Highlights
One of the major highlights of the season was Dallas Team Handball Club’s performance at the 24th Michael Lipov Memorial Cup in Mokena, Illinois, where the team finished 2nd place after four competitive matches. You can take a look back at some of the excitement in our photo gallery here!
These results demonstrated the club’s ability to compete against strong teams from across the United States and highlighted the progress of the roster throughout the year. It also served as a representation of the strong growth our club has had over the past year.
National and International Competition
In addition to domestic tournaments, the club continued to pursue competitive opportunities around the country. The men’s team traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Handball tournament in July, marking the second consecutive year the club participated in the event.
Participation in events like these allows Dallas players to gain valuable experience while representing the North Texas handball community on a national stage. While we fell short of a medal in this tournament, we were the only team to hand a loss to the eventual champions of the event.
Club Development
Off the court, the club also made important strides in strengthening its organizational foundation. Early in 2025, Dallas Team Handball Club launched a new online donation system, allowing supporters to contribute through recurring or one-time donations.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the Olympic sport of team handball in North Texas, these contributions help support:
- Tournament travel
- Equipment and uniforms
- Facility costs
- Community outreach

A huge thank you to everyone that supported us in 2025 through donations, sponsorship, or just volunteering your time at practice and events. You help make what we do possible.
Training and Community
Throughout the year, the club maintained its regular weekly practices at Mustang Park Recreation Center in Irving, welcoming players of all experience levels and backgrounds.
Dallas Team Handball Club continues to bring together athletes from around the world who now call North Texas home, creating a diverse and inclusive environment centered around the shared love of the game.
Looking Back
From competitive success to organizational growth, 2025 was a meaningful step forward for Dallas Team Handball Club. The dedication of players, volunteers, and supporters continues to strengthen the club and expand the reach of team handball in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
